Everything you need to know before you hit the open road! 

 

Walk-Ins

Walk-ins are welcome, but Slingshots book up quickly — especially on perfect riding days.
To guarantee availability, we recommend booking online or calling ahead.

Check-In

  • Please arrive 30 minutes before your reservation to complete waivers, check-in, and your safety briefing. 
  • Slingshots go out clean, fueled, and ready for adventure. 

Fuel Options

You have two choices for fueling: 

  1. Prepay for Fuel
  • The easiest option — we handle all fueling before and after your ride. 
  • No gas station stop required upon return. 
  1. Refuel Yourself
  • If you do not prepay, you must refill before returning the Slingshot. 
  • 91 octane ONLY is required. 
  • Lower-grade fuel can damage the engine and result in additional charges. 

Driver Requirements

To drive or sign the rental agreement, you must: 

  • Be 21 or older 
  • Have a valid driver’s license 
  • Present your license at check-in (no exceptions — no license = no rental, no refund) 

No motorcycle endorsement is required.

Passenger Requirements

  • Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 
  • Passengers must be able to sit safely with a full seatbelt on and follow all safety instructions. 

Waivers

Every person riding — including children — must have a completed waiver.
Completing waivers before arriving speeds up check-in and gets you on the road faster. 

Late Arrivals

Your rental time begins at the exact time you reserved, not the time you arrive. 

  • If you arrive late → your rental still ends at the scheduled time. 
  • If we delay you after you arrived 30 minutes early → we adjust your start time. 

We cannot guarantee your reservation if you are late. 

Rental Returns

All Slingshots must be returned on or before the scheduled end time.
Late returns are subject to a fee.

Cancellations

  • Cancel 72+ hours before your reservation → full refund minus a 5% booking-platform fee. 
  • Cancel within 72 hours → no refund. 
  • No refunds for early returns or weather unless you purchased Sensible Weather Guarantee™. 

Rescheduling

To reschedule, please contact us at least 72 hours before your rental.
Rescheduling is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.  

Reservation Guarantee

We work hard to fulfill every reservation, but occasionally mechanical issues, software problems, accidents, or other unexpected events may affect availability. 

If Rocks & Docks must cancel your reservation, you may: 

  • Reschedule or 
  • Receive a full refund 

You will never be penalized for circumstances outside your control. 

Safety Rules

For your safety and the safety of others: – Not only ATVS but we offer the best Boat Rental Service Afton Oklahoma has for UTVS and more! 

  • We may deny or cancel a rental if we feel safety is at risk. 
  • No drugs or alcohol before or during your rental. 
  • Helmets and eye protection are required at all times. 
  • Seat belts must remain on while the Slingshot is moving. 
  • Slingshots are paved-road vehicles only — no gravel, dirt, grass, or off-road surfaces. 
  • No aggressive maneuvers such as: 
  • Burnouts 
  • Donuts 
  • Racing 
  • Drifting 
  • Obey all traffic laws — any citations are your responsibility. 

Weather Policy

Rocks & Docks operates rain or shine.
Slingshots are open-air vehicles, so please plan and dress appropriately. 

Rocks & Docks does not cancel or refund rentals due to weather. 

Sensible Weather Guarantee™ (Optional Add-On)

Sensible Weather is a third-party service you may add at the time of booking.
If covered weather conditions occur, Sensible Weather will automatically reimburse you — no cancellation required. 

This coverage is: 

  • Optional 
  • Managed 100% by Sensible Weather 
  • The only option for weather-related reimbursement 

Rocks & Docks does not handle weather refunds without this coverage. 

Laws & Riding Guidelines

Slingshots must stay on paved roads only.
Renters are responsible for following all traffic laws and local regulations.
We will provide recommended routes and safety instructions at check-in. 

Where You Can Go

You may drive the Slingshot anywhere you want on paved roads within your rental window — including multi-day rentals.
We’ll give you suggested scenic loops, sunset routes, and local points of interest.

Damage Policy

You are responsible for any damage that occurs during your rental, no matter who was driving. 

  • We charge actual cost of parts + labor 
  • Damage costs are capped according to your Adventure Assure protection level 
  • The card on file may be used for damage charges 
  • For accidents causing injury → call 911 immediately 
  • For damage to the Slingshot → contact us at 918-937-9378
